OVERVIEW:
The Design curriculum will provide the opportunity for students to explore design using both traditional and digital media. Through a series of skill developing activities and problem solving explorations, students will develop a fundamental working knowledge of the elements and principles of design, the design process and learning how to SEE and THINK critically. The knowledge and skills acquired in this class will provide the critical foundational skills for further explorations in any number of art and design related fields.
The Design Curriculum is divided into three levels: Foundations, Studio and Advanced Projects. Please refer to the navigation menu to the right to select the appropriate level for you. Below you will find basic information that is applicable to all levels.
