Design Project #1 and Presentation

In the previous units you have focused on different important phases of the design process. Now you will use all of that work to create a presentation that has two objectives:

 

1. To all phases of the design process, by using all of the documentation that you have accumulated over the last few weeks. 

 

2. To present and explain your design, clearly and completely, by the use of visual techniques (drawings, photographs, graphs) as well as text. 

 

Criteria

  • All phases of the design process are represented.
  • Both images and text are used to communicate the concepts and specific features of your design solution.
  • The overall composition of your presentation is clear, clean and follows a logical flow.
  • The presentation board is well made ( i.e. images and texts are well aligned, there are no messy glue marks, Cuts are clean and straight, or if shapes are irregular then the transitions are smooth and intentional.
  • There is an intelligent use of line, color, shape , negative and positive space.
  • Appropriate typefaces and sizes are used.
  • The overall look of the presentation is professional.
